London's famous Tower Bridge was built between 1886 and 1894. This London icon is located close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name and crosses the River Thames. The bridge's colour scheme dates from 1977, when it was painted red, white and blue for Queen Elizabeth It's Silver Jubilee.
