In 1945, the first VW Beetle rolled off the production line in Wolfsburg – and captured hearts by storm. The small, cute car not only looked good, but was also affordable, yet very robust and powerful. The Beetle, as it was dubbed by a reporter from the New York Times, quickly became an absolute cult object. In 1998, the original "Beetle" was replaced by the reinterpretation "New Beetle." And after almost 70 years and more than 22 million cars built, the last example left the VW plant in Puebla, Mexico. It is now immortalized in the siku fleet: We are presenting the small cult car with the iconic, rounded shapes for the first time as a detailed, blister-sized replica. The body of the "Ovali" is made of robust metal, and the tires of high-quality rubber.
